My name is Louis Charlesworth (LC), I am a Photographer, Videographer & Editor born and raised in Leeds, England. I am a 20 yr old currently going through his university part of his journey to become a full time travel photographer and videographer. Since I was a child, I was always into creative activities such as drawing or even creating a hot wheels course. Down to the core I am an artist in many crafts with the love of creating my visions that can inspire others.

Besides the natural creativity I have, I always found myself enticed by entertainment industry. Such as: Video Games, Films and YouTube. I loved the endless possibilities games could bring and the rollercoaster of a story a film can take you on. There’s something about a journey that really moves me which is why I am starting my journey here. Being an explorer is something I’ve always find myself doing a lot. Wanting to always discover something more. With a clear vision of a life I want to live, I know my roots are firmly planted in the world of photography, video, travel and stories.

At the age of 13, I took my first steps of my journey by beginning to the learn the ways of Video-Editing. I made my first ever video using the iPad’s iMovie app 😂. At this time I was uploading YouTube gaming content showcasing highlights of best moments id capture. Now, I am a Professional Video-Editor with over 7 years of experience under the belt. I use DaVinci Resolve, After Effects & Premiere Pro for an innovative yet, ever-changing workflow to produce the best results possible.

It wasn’t till 2018 that I had actually set hands on camera which was gifted to me (thanks mum!). The camera was a Canon 750D. While I hadn’t initially thought about the potential a camera could have on my life, it completely changed it in ways I could have never expected. At this stage I was testing my skills and getting more comfortable with it. In July 2021, I accepted my first gig shooting a festival. Now I shoot with a Sony A7III and have shot a wide-array of gigs in the photography and videography world.

While I am closer than I have ever being to turning my dreams into a reality, I’m more hungry to succeed than ever.
